5 What does it mean?, Real English Out N°1.

Sometimes or most of the time we try to speak English with using expressions from our countries. That’s no too bad, if you only want to comunicate. But the goal would be people can understand what you mean right?.

How about learn the best way to make sure they will understand what you mean?. That’s the purpose of this seccion, so here you are some “Real English” exppresions also called idioms, you can learn today. 
1. “Get to the bottom of (something)” means: Find the truth or cause of a problem.

e.j: It took three years, but I finally got to the bottom of the fraud.
The police needed two weeks to get to the bottom of the robbery

2. “Slacker”: is a lazy person who avoids work. It has been used to describe Generation X, the people born between 1963 and 1983.

3. “An internship”: is a short-term, supervised work experience related  to a student’s major program and / or career plans.


4. “Think outside the box” means: To think differently or in an original and creative way.

5. “Hack into” means: break into  a web site or computer illegally.
